Peels or microderms... which do you perfer/recommend and why?! I currently offer light enzyme peels and absolutly love but starting training on microderms tomorrow and curious what others think bout them!

Leaha Monok on Saturday, 05 February 2011 06:15I would have to say that it depends on the persons skin type and how much exfoliation is needed. I was enrolled in an Aesthetics program a few month back and what I learned is that ezyme peels are suppose to get down into the epidermis layer of the skin. Microderms target the top layer of skin and don't get as deep as the ezyme. I know for my skin type I've tried and ezyme treatment and to me it didn't do much I would much rather have a chemical peel, I have a lot of dead skin cells that could use some good exfoliation. On the other hand a microderm would help me as a follow up region after the chemical peel.
